ignition making noise

hey guys having a little problem i have a 2jzgte in a is300 lexus but i am getting a ignition noise when the boost coming in...........the brain is stock...
the car is tranny............but the car is boosting and i'm getting 20psi which should not happen any ideas.....what is going guys.....thanks in advance the help will be great............or its de jdm engine...........

so your boosting 20 psi & u dont know why, that noise your hearing might be detonation i could be wrong tho. 20psi stock fuel and management>?

yeah its completely stock..............the boost gauge dats wat it showing 20psi.........ok guys wat u tink i should do boost controller. to limit it..wat u guys tink. de noise is like when a chain rackelling noise.....is it some thing very dangerous............

If youR waste gate is bad adding a mbc wont help

i also have a is300 powered by 2jzgte, now about your problem if you have a 3" exhaust from the turbo back it will over boost past 20psi, this will kill you engine in time. if you do have the twin turbo setup you need a restrictor ring or a 2.5" down pipe, or a catalytic converter. what am saying is you need some back pressure to help the small stock wastegate, i have a 2.75" down pipe with a 2.5 " exhaust the car is quite and it boost no more than 11.5psi
