If you have a bad fuel pump, will the csi still get fuel?

I mean does it need pressure? or is it sucked through with vaccume? I ask this because i recently got a 89turbo and he said the pump was bad...but when I was cranking it, I had fuel to the CSI(cold start injector)...

I know it was getting fuel because is was pouring out of it when i was cranking it...turns out I forgot to put it back on...:biglaugh:

Think about what you just said and where the line feeding the CSI is connected at.

I know what the previous owner said...I'm not so sure I would believe everything you're told ;)

wow....

I am feeling nice today as I did a 50+ mile bicycle ride yesterday....

The Cold Start injectors receives it fuel from the Fuel injector rail. If the CSI was not receiving fuel because of a bad fuel pump, ALL the injectors would not receive fuel ;)

ahh yes, i totally forgot where it was connected at...Since its at the rail, and the rail is part of the pressurized fuel system, it must of been getting pressure..

thanks
