Completely strip and repaint the entire car. New weatherstrip everywhere.
New trim where needed. (Some is fine.)
Color wise, I'm thinking of a subtle two tone using the upper body line over the fender/quarter flairs as the break, and only making the "darker" part on top. Basicly the tops of the fenders, hood, header panel, tops of the doors, quarters, roof/A posts and rear hatch and wing. The lamps I'd leave vintage 88 since I like them The same goes for the wing.
Wheels and tires I already have. (SSR Comps in 18" with Goodyear GSD3 tires.)
BBK is done. 14" rotors all around, and large 6 pistons up front, 4 pistons in the rear. I'm going to powder coat those calipers candy apple red when I get a chance however.
Tint the windows just a touch. Don't want it too dark, mostly for the UV protection, and heat rejection.
Custom carbon fiber hood. It will be painted to match the car, but with very little base, and only a translucent setup at that. I want to be able to see down into the paint, and pick out the CF weave. It will be vented to pull air out of the engine bay. (If I have to just cut holes, so be it.)
Custom front bumper based on the stock 88 setup. The upper grille will be die ground to open up all the closed mesh squares possible. More flow is the goal.
The lower opening will have a custom grille built for it out of aluminum, and will be opened up on the underside to allow for full flow over the FMIC that is about the same height as the top of the imapct bar. This will be done so you can't see it's cut out from above, but the air does not care, it will be sucked up over the FMIC all the same.
Custom front splitter, and rear diffuser. Possibly a smooth underbody and welded in subframe connectors. Some additional braces added to the floor and other areas I think could benefit from them. I'm tempted to cut off a hard top, and replace my targa setup with it. (Section in a complete hardtop at the A posts and quarter sails.)
Interior wise, a custom Katskin leather cover for every seat, custom door trim panels in leather and Alcantera. Alcantera headliner, and all plastic trim panels and dash covered in alcantera.
NSX headlights and HID lows and high beams. HID driving lights in the stock fog locations.
LED adapted lamps everywhere. Indirect inside LED lights so it makes the inside of the car glow when you open the doors, but you can't see any bright lights anywhere unless you want to turn on a map light or something. (Lights under the dash, seats, and undersides of the doors, so it lights up the ground when you open the doors. Also spot lamps in the mirrors so they light up the sides of the car at night when you open/unlock the doors.)
Underhood lamps that are switchable on the core support near the hood latch release. If you want them, just flip the switch, and they will light up your engine bay so you can check the oil or do any basic maintence you want in any lighting condition. (Would take a few strips of LED's, but would be easy to wire up, and make right.)
Same goes for the hatch area. I'd like two large lamps attached to the underside of the hatch, so when it's open, you can just switch them on, and have a nice flood light effect to light up cargo.
Last but not least, I'd like to setup cornering lights that are switched to your turn signals, so when you want to make a turn at night, they light up your intended path. (Simple 40.00 halogen fog lamps would work fine, and could be hidden, or built into the front cover to point at the sides of the roadway. These are one some nice luxury cars, and I really like having them at night.)
Final touches on the interior would be a DVD/GPS navigaiton setup built into a nice 7" high def touch screen head unit. A few more speakers would be OK tool, along with a set of folding 32" high def LCD TV's in the rear, and a playstation with two driving wheels and pedals for GT4 matches would be awesome. (Really don't need that part, but thought since we are dreaming, why stop at the mundane?)
There's more, but I'm sure you are bored already.
