Moon.....I don't believe we went there. What Analogue TV signal could get to the moon and back in the 1960s? We cant get an Analogue signal around the world with out sattelites spaced around the globe, and even then we cant get a clear signal. Scientificly I don't believe we went, and that's why I believe we havent gone back with all of this newer technology.......ready for a bashing, butl would welcome rational input on this tidbit!

The analog signal was relayed. Plain and simple. NASA had the higher power stuff set up in Houston. When they received it, they relayed it out to the media broadcast stations. Simple. You think your cell runs off of satellite? No. It bounces signals from tower to tower to build up the signal. Eventually the signal reaches a station that either has a hardline to the area you are calling, or a satellite connection. Same principal. And what is considered merely a clear signal nowadays was High Definition back then. Most of your analog broadcasts are locally based with no satellite involvement. Any other concerns we believers of history can set to rest for you? Never have been big on conspiracies.

On another note, our space technology development kind of tapered off in the 80s after Challenger. After a WOMAN was killed, The public freaked, and NASA's public interest died out quickly. So not a lot of "new" technology. Half of the advances in computer tech came about from Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. Do you have any idea how much computers shrank in size during the 60's?
