That weird my friends 87 NA has smoked a lot of car especially hondas and its completely stock. He smoked a VTEC SI civic no problem and has beat a lot of cars like mustangs and cameros.

I raced my friends Rs i believe, stock 140hp 126lb ft torque... he has a light weight flywheel, intake, exhaust with no cat, racing clutch... it wasnt a real good race, cuz he was already pulling up to me when i floored it.. from about 40km/h.. about 70 i wasnt gaining or loosing, but once i hit about 90ish, i started pulling back up.. and about 115 i flew past him. i have a 87 n/a 5 speed. i havent lost to a civic yet, and ive beat 3 RSX's, and lost to one cause it was turbo. ive had a close race with a big diesel ford, but i had 4 passangers, but i still won.

CamAro. C-a-m-A-r-o. Why can't anyone figure out how to spell Camaro any more? Jeezus...I know people who OWN the damn things and can't spell it.

Oh and Mustang doesn't have an "e" on the end either.[/spelling police]
No doubt???:3d_frown:

I've beaten a couple n/a's in my EF.. but it doesnt have a rev limiter.. I take advantage of that :)

did you know a d15b w/ 230k non-rebuilt miles can rev up to 9k rpm before it winds out? XD

the cool thing is I dont have to worry about blowing my motor.. people give these things away like skittles!

^^ Evidently you didn't see the skittles bubble gum commercial:

Girl: Is that new skittles bubble gum?

Guy: (said matter-of-factly) Yup.

Girl: Can I have some?

Guy: (matter-of-factly again) Nope. **Floats away**

I laughed my ASS off the first time I saw that commercial

hahahaha dood i was totally expecting a o_O type of look as in...WTF?! LMAO I'm so glad someone else has seen that commercial.

But yeah you're right with everyone doing B-series swaps (and K20's for that matter...) the D series motors are as common as rocks.

baaaahahaha I remember the stock d15 in my civic. Half-ass dual point "fuel injection" that was one hell of a gutless motor. Then again, 2 weeks later I could drop the clutch in 5th and the clutch couldn't even kill the motor at idle.

I beat my d15 with a 12lb sledge hammer before throwing it in the metal scrap bin. Aluminum was like $0.70 per lb at the time....

the nice thing about d series is that you can boost the hell out of them, race for cash and then get another one for 300-400$ and repeat
