God, I can't even imagine what I'd be feeling if it happened to my gf. I'm pretty upset by it and I don't even know this girl that well.
I don't really care who it happens to though. The rapist should be tortured and executed. NQA.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure she had to have filed a report. She called 911 as soon as she woke up and spent all day in the hospital.
I wish there was something I could do. I feel pretty useless.

Relax about this for a while while you do some calm and collected research. Figure out who did this and take care of it properly. I'm sure you can find some down and out person who wants to make a couple hundred pretty easially, if you know what I mean. Chances are this guy will run his mouth about this, and someone will know something. Find out what guys know where she lives, and hopefully the police can go and dust for prints.

it happened to my gf a long while ago. the Pi was sapose to get a warrent and what not because he filmed it. he ended up just talking to him at his work. so I imagine he went home and got rid of any evidence. and it went on. the out come came to his word against hers. so they dropped it. there were witnesses and all. U.S justice is f*cked. he probly paid the pi off.

in fact, if that would have happened to anyone close to me it wouldnt even be a second thought in my mind. the bastard would be dead.
if you walked to his house, shot the guy and walked home, the chances of you getting caught are actually pretty slim.
real life isnt like law and order or csi, apart from someone seeing you do it, getting a REALLY good look at you and then following you home, the police might not even think to question you when they find the scumbag dead.

To the OP: That really does blow man, but don't do anything stupid. You getting riled up will only get everyone around you riled up, most importantly the girl that it happened to. I think she's already been through enough, I'd hate to see her have to go through more shit worrying about you or her other friends getting into legal trouble or worse... getting killed. I'd suggest just being there for her (not in an overbearing way) and to help her find every legal avenue she can venture down.

Thanks guys. I don't know who did it and neither does she. Rest assured if I did know who it was they'd at least get a breaker bar to the face.

Just reading this thread... this is one of the biggest fears I have w/ my wife... not so much now that she's pregnant, but the fear is still there.

This happened to a friend of mine in my Fraternity pledge class. He had a girl who was known to be a slut come over to his room and hang out. no sexy time, nothing happened. she left at 2-3 (IIRC) and then magicaly showed up at the police station at 6 am hair everywhere and saying she had been raped.
In the end my friend was proven innocent but she claimed he raped her. The guy had a stigma attached to him for the rest of the time I knew him. Really was bad for him to cause he was just a relaxed dude, and would never do something like that.

Police ignored the video.
