I have this idle problem where I would start my car and it would idle funny. I would look at my boost gauge and it would read 16-17 hg-vac and the car would shake. rpm would be around 900 to 1100. after a minute or two the problem would go away and it would idle fine. idle would be lumpy, lumpy, lumpy and then smooth. Thats the only way I can describe it. This use to happen when ever I left the car sitting for more than 2 days without starting it but now its happening almost every day. Is it because the oil is so thick? I'm using 15w-50 mobile one. I have a code 11 also but I don't know if that is related.

just seen your post and looked right fast for you(30 sec with the search bar SM has). so if its it a ecu power thing, then maybe you can trace the bad wire and cut it of and rewire it. or it could be timing. thats what mine was, not the code but the high and low idle that it was doing.

I tried searching too (idle issues and code 11) but could not really come up with anything that was similar to my problem.
yea i dont think they make full syn stuff any more. read jdubs stuff on oil too. smart guy he is.

The fact that it's going to be summer soon I decided to run a heavier weight and for it being a synthetic motor oil the price was really good($22). Plus I read on here and supraforums people using this oil and having great results.
