I had my first supra, 1987 turbo targa 5speed. Completely stock except a K&N filter.

I was stopped at a light with 3 girls in the car. Dumbass and his friend pulls up beside me in a 3rd gen prelude with intake, exhaust and headers. He smiles at the girls in my car then goes "hey dude, you runnin anything in that 240?" I looked at him and shook my head. He revs up on me as the light is about to turn. I stand at about 4k. Light goes green and i took off on him. All you hear is "OH SHIT! IT'S A SUPRA!!!"


I wish I wouldn't kept that car. Got a BHG running with a chick in a fox body 5.0 built! Damn, did I feel like an ass when steam started pouring from my hood. Working on my new project now. 1986.5 NA converted to gte

Yea. It wasn't that impressive of a kill, but it just pissed me off that he called me a 240:3d_frown:, but made me laugh when he realized I was a supra:biglaugh:.
Preludes are only fast if done right. Like I have a friend in Oregon who has a turbo h22 vtec and he dyno'd at 332whp. Fricken ridiculous
