identify hose that runs from valve covers to block

I seriously tried searching and googling and ask some supra ppl that I know and everybody knows what I'm talking about but does not know the actual name of the big hose that runs from the intake side valve cover to the block.

What is it called and if you could a part number? I took it to a local shop and said that its a special hose that i have to order, they had a heater hose in that size but advised me not to replace it with that.

its a oil breather hose i believe. or oil ventilation hose

i hate when those hoses get hard and brittle and break....i :love: my new one....shoulda order from champion but got it from the local steelership

Stainless and AN fittings are the way to deal with the "brittle" issue...

I just used a braided stainless steel hose (an12 or 14 IIRC) from summit racing. I bought a 3' length and was able to make 2 of them out of it. Then just reused the oem claps.
