So does that make you a ricer for doing performance mods to your Supra?

I'd throw together a turbo setup, lower it and throw some nice wheels on it.

A Supra is a performance vehicle.

A Civic, especially the four door variety, is a grocery getter.

Big difference pal.

The goal was a big difference, but on some levels, the performance is the same. The fact is, Civics can be made to be pretty quick, and IMO, the Civics have the advantage over the Supra in the "easy to mod" category cause parts are cheap, etc.

I think Rota makes a cheep knock off if you can't source some real ones.

There is nothing wrong with a properly modded civic. Just keep it mild and no bumble bee exhaust, giant wing, neons, or oversized wheels. I would not turbo the civic, because if you do your A/C will either need to be removed or will be so close to the elbow it won't work for crap.

I disagree completely but I don't really feel like arguing so I'll let it go.

Right.

Just because you don't see a lot of "fast" civics doesn't take away from the fact that they're an okay platform to make fast.
