Ideal Stock R154 Flywheel "Step" and flywheel/pressure plate prep.

I'm going tomorrow to have a flywheel turned. What is Ideal Flywheel Step?

Does someone have a Virgin 1JZ/7M Flywheel or Fidanza they can measure for me? (take a straight edge or block of wood to the Friction Surface or "middle surface" then using feeler gauges measure the gap between the edge on the mounting surface or "outer surface."

Anyone have thoughts/opinion on having more step dialed in?

Also, Prior to install I've heard of people using 100 Grit paper on the pressure plate and flywheel friction surafaces prior to Install and brake cleaning it after. To do or not?

Run out is different. It's how far the disc runs up and down.

Step is the step between both surfaces.

I had to have my lightweight flywheel machined, they had to add a step to clear the clutch disk I think. All they needed was the flywheel and the clutch disk with pressure plate, then they measured and cut it to fit properly.

pretty sure stock is .020 inches thats what i had mine redone at
