ic piping

ok guys im having no luck. this winter im going to go with a ffim that x-man is making for me, but i cant find any piping. if you guys have any you can sell or know a company or site that sells it that would be great. im running a tial 50mm bov so if you have piping with that adapter that would be even better.

For the BOV flange, type in what your BOV is plus flange in the search bar....it'll come up with weld-in flanges and probably pipe sections with the flange already on there.

sorry im not buying cheap ebay shit, that the pipe is just gonna bend when you tighten down those shitty t-clamps. been there done that.

Its not like ebay made it. Its just were people sell their things.. i bought my IC and piping their and its good quality just buy new t-clamps and u should be good. Or ir u dont wanna do that just get some custom

I've bought 2 CX Racing kits from Ebay, and the quality actually looks pretty good. If the pipe is bending when you tighten the clamp, you're tightening too much....no matter what pipe you're using.

IC pipe bending??? You gonna use steel? Any aluminum pipe is gonna bend with enough tightening force. If you are worried about your IC pipes poping off put some beaded lip on the pipes or hammer out a lip.

I actually have set of cx racing factory replacement that I got off of ebay. They look pretty strong to me. You do realize your not supposed to tighten down nuts and bolts until something breaks or you can't turn it anymore. Ebays just a market place you cant blame it for things people sell. If anything the weak point of the cx racing and other ebay sourced kits are the tbolt clamps. They strip out super easy, and even if they didnt theyre gonna snap long before you start bending pipes.

well most kits have the actual ic i dont need it i just need the piping and im looking for either 2.5 or 3. and im not using universal ones. and im glad yall have had luck with ebay but i havent, and i do know they dont make the stuff thats sold on there but 80% of it is crap if you ask me.

The problem is that you're not going to find a "name brand" IC pipe kit that isn't fit to a specific vehicle. You can either buy a kit like the one from CXracing that has a bunch of pipes, or you can buy individual mandrel bends. Search for "aluminum mandrel bend" on eBay and there are lots of individual ones.

Here's a pic of my intercooler "kit".

I started with a CXracing kit that had 6 J bends. The pipes are just as good of quality as any that I've seen from a name brand IC kit. I cut and fit them, had them welded, then rolled a bead on the ends. The T-bolts should distribute the force equally around the pipe, and they shouldn't have to be nearly tight enough to make anything bend.

Cx_Racing has good QUALITY IC piping & a universal kit is the best bang for the money. You can get just the pipes W/O the IC on ebay for $100-$130 shipped all day long. Will have all you need. If you still don't want to deal with Ebay Just have Sean source you some 3" Alum bends from his shop or local truck parts store.
