I once bought a boss of mine a membership to the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) ... Apparently his wife didn't appreciate it much.
It was well deserved, he tried to fire me for cause (when there was none) and the CEO, CFO and HR Director shouted him down and told him "you can't do that".
He was fired a few months later, with cause, and there was plenty.
