ouch we are not as bad a say new york with the salt but we are suer trying hard lately

as far as the air ride check the holinder thear is a refit for the air struts on it i cant rember witch but i think it is a tauras strut that bolts in to the spot for the air struts and remove the compressor and don with that prob forever

that year of 5.0 is fuel injected not to bad to work on at all and have you guys even tryed to look at replaceing the starter on those 4.6 things ..you got to pull the motor mount out to get the starter off it is a big pain in the ass did it on my friends 96 towncar never again

they do have thear probs but not to bad as soon as you get it if you get it replace the batery cabels ALL of them including the ground straps to the fire wall from the intake most of the issues i seen was from starving for ground and frying stuff

Oh, and did I mention that there were several cases of these cars catching on fire in garages overnight? Seriously. I heard about that and BEGGED my mom to get rid of her bucket.

A few Ford's had this problem. Happened to my friends Explorer in his driveway. Something to do with the wiring for the ABS by the firewall I believe.
