I think I'm hitting fuel cut...

...on stock twins.

mods are: driftmotion intake, 2.5 inch intercooler piping with a big front mount, blitz blowoff valve, stock y-pipe to an open 3 inch downpipe.

the car revs in neutral to rev limit with no problems.

But once I go for a real pull, at around 4-6 thousand, the engine dies for a split second, then comes back and pulls hard and healthy.
No other problems, it just does this.

How much boost you running? Also have you changed the fuel injectors? I can get about 14 PSI out of my stock setup because the injectors just arent big enough to go any further. As for boost cut, if it pulls real good then it just feels like the boost and power are gone you probably are hitting it. Plus another thing what fuel pump are you running if it is a 7MGE pump then you might wanna change it.
