Ok in the past few weeks, this is what Ive fixed, solved, or changed...or found
Spark Plugs to new Densos, gapped at .044
Accel Spark plug wires (*from autozone)
New valve cover gaskets, with gray RTV to seal it around
new ISC Hose bc the other one was cracked
New Rad Fan and rad fan clutch (7 blade)
filled or checked all my fluids
Cleaned my TB
New BVSV and Cold Start Injector Timing Switch (neither installed yet)
Timed the car to 10* BTDC, adjusted the idle adjustment screw, and figured out my TPS WASNT plugged in... so I plugged that in, car idles at 700 now (and yes I reset the ECU so its still learning a little)
Heres my current, issue and things I know that are STILL wrong...
I have a fuel leak, from the far left banjo bolt going into my FPR on the fuel rail, its tiny, but its bc I only have one washer on the front of it, not the back side. Its enough to actually see some fuel leak on the side of the block and wet the area after a good 5 min drive.
I have a full thru 3" system AFTER my stock manifold. Its got a test pipe, 3" system and a Apexi N1 exhaust. I have a stock exhaust Im just waiting to buy a Cat so I can put it on, hopefully fix what Im getting to...
Ive inspected my ISC, its working fine, Ive inspected my TB, its good to go...
Again now, the car idles at 700, Im thinking perk it up to 750.. anyways
When I drive it. theres no low end torque, at all really. Its slower than shit, will not put me into my seat at all... its depressing. When I hit 3800rpms, the car gives more kick, and I feel a push and get pushed back, but to how she used to be, not as much as she should...
I also have some backfire now, when I let off the gas and throw her into idle, it has a bogging backfire to it...
Whats this sound like is going on here guys? Im really stumped, should I bump up my timing or something? Should I take all my valve shit off, including timing belt, and turn the gears TDC, crank to TDC and try and retime it all from point one?
What else can I look into? Would that small fuel leak cause low end loss but not high end?
