Thought the base timing might have been off, so I broke out the timing gun.

Sure enough, for some reason base timing was sitting at 0 degrees. :1zhelp:

:D So I bumped it back to about 10ish...


I think I'll BHG within the next 200mi.

I haven't test driven it hard yet, but what kind of power difference can you make from 0 degrees base timing to 10 degrees? :rofl:

My stock gasket is holding up good, 13psi for 18 months now.

If you think your timing is retarded I set mine when I put my car back together as per TSRM must have moved a tooth as I put the CPS back in, car was flat as a fart. Put the timing gun on it 10* after tdc:nono:

I used to run 15 with C16 back in the day with no real benefit... but that was like 20psi on a upgraded CT.

I've done numerous 20+psi pulls on the GT4088 now with a toyota HG toyota bolts at 72ft/lbs.

We'll see! :)

stock bolts? ARPS what are you torques to?
