I was just sitting a stop light then this truck pulls up next to me with a lawnmower in the back and you know i think nothing of it. The light turns green and i wait for like a half second or so but the second it turned he burns out and TAKES OFF, i react and floor it, build 10psi(low boost) but he was already to far ahead for me to see if im pulling on him. He pulls in the turn lane and i go my way.
I think I encountered a Supra-tacoma.

there was a guy who followed me n tried to race me in a older one. i reved and he gave thumbs up... hmm toyota owners are teh best!

meh, id say it had a good chance. things are extremely light, too. i had read somewhere where people were dropping 7ms into 4runners for the 4wd, light weight and awesome power of the 7m. they were running nice times on the 1/4 mile, but i cant remember em.
I have a 7MGTE powered 4wd pickup and have smoked my share of mustangs from a standstill. Love the looks on their faces when I leave 'em sitting. Nothin like smoking 33" tires. I have yet to run a 1/4 mile.

that 7m-pickup swap is what got me interested in the MKIII in the first place.
I was looking for a motor to drop in my truck since my mom overheated it and damaged it. I ended up rebuilding/modding the 22RE instead, but then my interest in the MKIII was there, and once I drove one, it became a bit of an obsession.

Hey Fletch, i have a TRD supercharged T100 4X4, and i whip folks with it and guys follow me and then they discover it is a sleeper, you probably encountered a Super Taco, they are lighter than mine, i whipped, 2 lengths, a brand new paper tag in the window, Turbo Dodge Diesel, he thought his truck was the shit, till he got the wrath of Super T.
