and you need a battery hold down...

who me? its been that way for about a year and i have had no problems with movment. the 0g wire actually holds it in place. the battery is just about the same size as the plate it sits on and with wieght on the plate that doesnt go anywhere either.

got the car to start... thanks guys... now i have to install new battery terminals and a tie down. would any plan tie down work for the battery?

Is it okay just to cut the wiresat the positive and negative and use the newly cut part onto a new battery terminal with no problems?

thank you!!

Hit a nice bump, short across the battery on the hood and you have a nice fire...

GET A HOLD DOWN

a 40lbs battery aint going anywhere no matter what bump i hit lol... maybe eventually ill get around to making a custom bracket to fit it. but like i said its been that way for a year or so and ive had no problems

At least protect the terminals. Trust me, a battery moves around a lot more than you'd think. I busted a battery in another vehicle because I was missing the battery hold down...
