I pulled my first two bearings. What do you think? (w/ pics)

My Crank shop steered me away from ACL's as they don't do the good Race series bearings for M Engines (ACL are local to me)

NDC's are the Japanese equal to Clevites but lack some of the cool Clevite tech features, I've used them in my last 4 7M builds with good results.

I'm using Beck Anely's from napa here.

I got them for a killer price and when i opened the box they were ACL's. Kinda cringed at this at first but looked at their site, and am confident with using them. :)

Taiho is factory stuff if you can find it. ;)

Edit: Try Titan Motorsports or SIP Racing / Suprarich. He might have them on the shelf.

IJ,
Does that mean that the Clevite 77 bearings are the same as the ACL's here in the US?
Or is it just for the 7M?

I am curious as I am in the process of finishing my head and saving money for the bottom end and replacing the pistons, rods, rod bolts, rod bearings, main bearings, and trust washers with Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, and Clevite main and rod bearings and along with the trust washers.

please dont flame because I am not ji-jacking this thread, and I want to be informed.

Ummm nope ACL do a standard non race bearing for M engines, my guys say they don't hold up well to high loads you get in a 500+rwhp build and suggested the NDC's which ARE what Clevite now repack as "77's"...
