i used to get into contact with steve but i dont remember his direct email, perhaps theres some delay between the admin and the correct areA?

ian, you know steves direct email dont you?

calling is a much better option, get some better answers that way.

i didnt know megasquirt had a site. i hope there next unit that comes out has the knock sensing capability as you said. hopefully by the time i go to do mine it will be good to go!

Yep there's tonnes of sites out there about it... the main thing that put me off of buying a MSII is that its still 'under development' and prone to change. That, and the lack of commercial support.

They're different from other aftermarket ECUs; you don't have to wait for a new release to be given more features. You can enable/disable features as you please, especially since most of them are just software improvements.

(they also have linux support which is something very tempting!)
