Im doing a 1JZ swap and most of the hoses were cut off. Anyone know the correct sizing that are common for our engines? Thanks

grab a hose that is still on the engine, see if it plugs into other ports. Most are 1/8th inch I believe. Its easier just to bring it to autozone or w/e your gonna get some hoses. Vacuum hoses are Vacuum hoses...nothing really special.

Oh, I was going to buy some silicone hoses but if there nothing to worry about I guess I'll just do that method. Thanks for your opinion

oh okay. So the 7M kit fits the 1J? I was about to get the 2J hose kit but it is way more expensive and my thought was that it contains much larger hoses. So if the 7M works too then I'll get that and search more within our vendors. THanks guys!

As for the 7M vacuum hose size is 3mm (.118"). I am guessing the 1J is the same.
I have a few 1/8" (.125") installed on my supra and the 1/8" fit like ass, they are way too loose. They can easily "pop" off and need to be clamped down. :(. . I thought that being within .010" would be close enough for the vac. hose, BUT again I was wrong. :nono:
I am still going to replace all of mine with 3mm when that time comes. I’m just not a fan of the "thick" silicone hose. I like the thinner OEM black hoses with the Japanese writing on it.

Mike, go to Vic Hubbard on A street. They have real good quality hoses as well as those silicone ones. They won't rot blow off or collapse under vacum or boost.
PS: - Wirings looking better .. soon lol
