so i went to go change my ebrake cable because my old one was rusted through and snapped. (the cable connecting to the lever leading down under the car before it splits into two)

i cant find where this is or might be in the tsrm..

anyway i unbolt 2 bolts from lever and 2 bolts when i lift up the carpet.

it was already disconnected from the part where it splits into two cables going to the tires. so i go to pull the entire cable out and it is STUCK hard... idk what it's stuck on? what else is connected to it.

looking at my replacement cable.. i cant see where else it would be stuck...

judging by looking under the car it looks like it is stuck in the below picture where i am pointing

soo.. anyhelp would be apreciated.

im replacing the whole thing (the metal cable with the black thing around it and the mounting flanges... all in one.). the picture is the repacement. i was trying to show where it looked to be "stuck

as i said. i got the 4 bolts off... and it's unhooked from the rest of the system where it branches off into the two cables that go to the wheels

Not understanding the question I guess???

Are you trying to get the cable out of the black sleeve? Your replacement should have that sheath too. The cable should not come out of it.

yea i meant im trying to pull the whole thing out as one piece, not trying to pull just the cable out.

hopefully that clears my question up a bit.
thanks

Did you remove 90468-06063 in the pic? I also found it easier to pull the seat and the entire lever assembly out.

That would be your problem, it's a retaining clip. Might have to clean the dirt off of it to get a better view, but it has to come off.
