Tigerjapanese.com Is a site that I've seen used. I've never used it first hand, but I know that I was reading a thread just the other day about someone getting an engine from there. He seemed pleased.

I purchased my motor through Soshin USA, they are a great company. It was hassle free and the motor was in amazing shape! They clean their motors really well too. The motor arrived at my house within the week of ordering it IIRC. A lot of people recommend Jarco, also. That's a great company to deal with. Here's a link:

Used is USED regardless if it is JDM or USDM.

Even though they say they look at the motors. If they are not measuring both main and rod bearings (which is time consuming and I highly doubt they are taking thier time to do it right), changing them to get them within specificiation. I rather do a rebuild. A good rebuild will be as much as a JDM engine now a days. Especially when adding the Shipping to the cost.

I know all motors differ, I was just saying the one I got from them was great. I rebuilt it nontheless but crank was fine, rods were fine and none of the bearings where abnormally worn. Didn't have a BHG or much blowby either.
