damn kyle. your really diving into this you got a torque wrench on hand?? and a machine shop close by that isnt going to be busy or on holiday till tuesday??
tell you right now, make sure you have some extra cash for Brake cleaner, extra hose, a trip to machine shop, oils and fluids, and of course, some mothafukin gojo.
get a putty scraper and go at your deck like a fat kid on a cupcake get that thing looking shiney and new just watch the edges. leave your oil in for now so whatever falls in the holes will hopefully wash away when you drain it after reassembly, your stocker will be fine just the way it is dry and flat just get your head decked, and one very usefull step. right now before you take your cams get a black sharpie, when you take off of you cams your going to have to take out hte buckets holding the shims on the head. take a sharpie and start labeling those in a way so you can figure out where they go when you put it back on, this will save your life and keep you from dealing with out of spec valve shims.
masking tape and a sharpie now to help you put humpty dumpty together again.
spend like 20 min on this, you probably know most of this but it'll refresh your memory or print them out, thats what i do.
