I really annoyed with my car. I can't figure out whats' really wrong with it ?
I flushed the coolant out twice. And whatever i put in, it all comes out.
I drained the oil and it looks like oil, Dark oil, not sure when the last owner changed it.
My Neighbor said the oil doesn't smell anything like coolant and coolant doesn't smell like anything but coolant. Coolant looks like coolant, two times i put in, same color came out twice.
Car overheated twice, when i pushed the car twice in 2nd gear. Two different days. And i smell coolant in the engine bay and inside the car a little.
Heat works inside the car, Had a coolant pressure checked and it passed that.
Thermostats has been changed.
Car doesn't smoke at all.
There is a exhaust leak by the turbo, can that make my car misfire a little ?? cause it seems like it is. Every time i pushed the car or like for example, if i hit the gas and let my RPM go up and not change the gear and then let go the gas, the car shuts off. Can that be the cause of exhaust leak ??
Can the car misfire if there is a exhaust leak by the turbo ?? and for the dumb question....can a car overheat if you have a bad turbo ??
Also, there was oil coming out of the turbo, it seemed like it. There was oil in my IC pipes.

Sry guys, so many questions. i just need them answered. I m just lost and i just want to find out whats wrong with it ??

Here is the pic of the turbo.

does it smell like coolant in the inside of the car? the heater core goes out a lot in our cars and leaks all over the passenger side carpet. coolant would disappear in my car and it turned out to be the heater core. check the floor in your car to see if theres coolant.

what do you mean by this? that it is leaking, or when you flush it you get all of the coolant out each time? doest the coolant level change at all?

no carpet looks fine . It does smell inside the car a little when the motor is hot. it was to leak i would have posted it about it. Can a heater core cause a car to overheat ??

Also one time when i pushed the car, the overheating gauge went up to overheating and then went down to the middle where it should be. Then again it would go up if i push the car and back down. That only happen onces

Can this be the waterpump ?? I did take the water pump out and but it looks ok. The wheel inside spins fine.
Can a turbo cause a car to overheat and also the smell of the coolant ?? and the misfire ??

All the Coolant comes out when i flush it. All that went in, all flushes out when i flushed it.

The car doesn't leak coolant at all.

Car did have a had time starting when i flushed the coolant the first time and i tired to start the car next morning, it was hard time starting, like a Cold start.

I just want to figure out why its over heating, why the car shuts off when i push it or just when i have the RPms up and dont change the gear. Seems like it's misfiring ?

Well Boo Hoo.
I flushed the coolant out twice. And whatever i put in, it all comes out.
How are you measuring this?
I drained the oil and it looks like oil, Dark oil, not sure when the last owner changed it.
If you're serious have a lab check it out, or do a pH test and report back.
My Neighbor said the oil doesn't smell anything like coolant and coolant doesn't smell like anything but coolant. Coolant looks like coolant, two times i put in, same color came out twice.
So you're neighbor is a Doberman or just a dumbass?

Thermostats has been changed.
Water pump blades, did you check that out?

Car doesn't smoke at all.

Fix that. DM 7/16 Stud Kit. Also sounds like when you let off it goes rich and dies.
Can that be the cause of exhaust leak ??
What?

Can the car misfire if there is a exhaust leak by the turbo ??
Not Really but it'll lack low end power.
and for the dumb question....can a car overheat if you have a bad turbo ??
If only the coolant is seeping out or if you have a coolant leak on the housing or lines.
Also, there was oil coming out of the turbo, it seemed like it. There was oil in my IC pipes.
I tell you once and i'm telling you again look at the FUCKING PCV system in the supra slight oil is normal.

Sry guys, so many questions. i just need them answered. I m just lost and i just want to find out whats wrong with it ??
Sell it now.

PCV FUCKIN VALVE, most of the time you have oil dumping into the motor or out the exhaust, not out side of an area of high suction.

Also if you still have the oil. Mix the oil (shake it) Take a graduated cylinder and let it sit for about 20 mins and see if theres stacking. Pretty Ghetto but it'll work.

Why are you pushing your car? lol

I second this question, why are you pushing your car?

Also, have you done a compression check to see if you possibly have a BHG? Honestly, I would do that, then report back here and we can go from there. Do you have any codes? Check those.

Just a thought but you said when you were pushing you car the temperature gauge went to overheating then back down. Now assuming you weren't pushing the car for miles, thats a pretty damn short period of time for the coolant gauge to fluctuate this much. You should check the wiring and make sure your gauge is working properly.

As for the oil in the turbo, completely normal. The PCV system on the 7M has a tendency to do that if your not running a catch can.

Fix your exhaust leak as well, just need to buy some new gaskets from Toyota.

Driftmotion 7/16" Helicoil Kit. It's not eazy at all to do. I'm having my machinist do it.

Did you check the nuts between the turbo and exhaust manifold?

Only pushed the car down the street when the car is all warmed up. When i pushed it in 2nd gear up to 60mph, and after that drove it to friends house normally and stopped for 10 mins and saw my temp gauge at over heat. I let it sat for 15 mins and it had went down a little.

NO THE OLD OIL! To see if the coolant rises.

X2 on a compression test, i've told you that once and i assume you've done it.

the mechanic i took it to, did the coolant test, but they didn't have time to do the compression. i just drove it home and havent driven alot since then.

how much a compression test cost ??

I wish my DP was just loose... damn thing rusted right through. Oh well will be replaced very soon :).

Compression tests are normally pretty cheap.. but on our cars getting to the plugs is generally more work then most cars ( besides Blazier's and crap )... so they may charge you more. It's not hard to do, go into any hardware store and ask what tools you need to do it yourself.. then just search.
