If you need to worry about power loss to an engine fan there's something drastically wrong!

With the 7M's Inherent cooling issues and the staggering amout of damage it can do if something goes wrong I'll stick with an engine fan and drop a HP or two.

I have been using mine for almost a year now, no cooling issues, in fact the fan barely comes on unless the car is at a stoplight for more then 2-3 minutes or so. While crusin on the highway or even slow there is absolutely no use for the fan or any fan for that matter. It is very common on smaller motors to use electric fans for a reason.. because the engine driven fans consume more power. Maybe there is something wrong if I worry about power loss but I enjoy racing my car now and then jus like the rest of us so somethin like that is a big deal. You have racers worried about a pound or two of weight!!! Keep in mind while our engines alone are somewhat powerfull were not running no 502 big block, we need all performace we can get to compete with some of the newer muscle out there I mean damn now u have a typical family car with 250+ hp we need to step it up to get some respect =)

96 Ford Contour V6 electric fans work well also and fits the stock radiator like they belong together. Alot of the people i know like the fords better than the FAL. Cheaper and moves just as much if not more air.

I blatantly disagree with porterz respect issues, but that's alright because it's only an opinion and there is a reason it is free. I have no mods at this time and there are many cars out there that are in our engine class. The supra has nothing to prove with respect. Anyone that is a gear head will respect it. The others that aren't even smart enought to know........, well, shit. Why do you care what they think anyway?????

And yes...., I also want all the muscle I can get. I will work toward this when I get the car in shape. I wouldn't just jump into it...., I'd feel it out. My ride is touchy at times. I think she's tired and is alright with passing......., I'ma dr. frankenstien this bitch. What I want is ram air induction. fipk is a good start, but I don't have that either. sorry for rambling.

and is that three hp at the crank? hardly noticeable at the wheels. im sticking with the stock fan, if im having trouble cooling it id just go for a better than stock radiator, like a PWR or a Fluidyne
