Nah, I'm always like this when it concerns MK3 owners talking about domestic stuff. It's always folks talking out of their asses. Don't get me started about MK3 owners talking about fox bodies...

A 350 will dollar for dollar smoke any supra on the road. Mk1-4, it doesn't matter. It takes MUCH more money for a Supra to run with anything domestic. This is comming from a guy who's supra will smoke everyone but two or three members on this board. I did my supra build "on the cheap" so to speak, but had I put the money into a domestic anything it would be much faster.

Don't confuse this for not liking Supras or anything like that. I love Supras. They are easy to make power out of and some of the funnest cars to drive. But recognise the truth. That 350 will probably make more rwhp than a BPU 7M and will be cheaper to build. Not to mention with that auto it's gonna be a drag monster.

I've never ran a 1/4 mile, but my car is not fast in an 1/8. It takes a while to get going, but I have never even came close to being outran by a mustang. I've outran mustangs of all shapes and sizes. You can believe what you want to believe, and I will keep on living in my imaginary world where my supra will outrun domestic cars.

Chevy parts are dime a dozen, you can do it cheap(ok cheapER), but everybodys got one, thats what makes 7m fun for me. If your going to race regularly, 350 is very cost effective. I would like to have a GM trans.

Ive beaten the ass off some Mustangs, even big blocks, and they never saw it coming, and I would easily have my ass handed to me by plenty of others. Like any car, It depends what you've done, and how well its set up. I think on the highway we have a massive advantage, I love someone to mess with me when I have a rolling start....thats eliminated the down side of our car, the slow take off.

As for that car, Its FUGLY!! IMO if you put a built domestic motor in, why would you rice the rest out. If I had a v8 I'd go more hot rod style like Rajunz car. I'd rather beat my dick with a hammer than get caught driving that.
