Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, but not to the world of Supras. Waaay back in '99, I had a co-worker who drove a grey '88 turbo targa. I got to drive it and never forgot the car. Fast forward to 2005. I spy a neglected white turbo in an empty lot (BHG), but the owner wouldn't sell. Couple months later kids take a baseball bat to the car, busting out all the glass right before Katrina's rains come through  I start looking on the internet. End up with two '87s NAs in the span of one week. Year later I get pregnant, and both Supras had to go. This summer, following nasty divorce, I decide a turbo Supra would be just the ticket. I fly to GA to pick up a totally stock '91. Just recently, I got a deal on a '90 with some nice mods. So I have twins. The '91 is for sale, check out autotrader.com for details. In my signature, its the one in the back with the white package wheels. Both cars have issues, but minor ones. Both have rebuilt engines. The interior on the '91 is beautiful, and the interior on the '90 is crappy. Once the '91 sells, I'll have some $$ for the '90. Paint job is also in order along with more mods.

Mods for the '90 will include anything that will let me kick the *(&^%^ of that stinking little turbo Neon that raced me right after I got the '91. Please, if you see a turbo Neon, race it and redeem the MK3!! :icon_bigg

It was suggested to me to part out one of my cars for the sake of the other. Ohhh, I just can't do that! We need to save the Supras, haha.

91's are much more rare, you should keep it, and fix it up with the money made off the 90. Welcome to the site. Now about this Neon, you must exact your own revenge, and never again let this happen. I've got a turbo Neon buddy, and if it makes you feel better, he could never handle my grey 90.

Welcome, Local! :D

I've rocked many socks on SRT-4's in my day...

But there is this one that creeps around town, comes out rarely...
That put me to shame one evening...But it's also a 10 second car. :icon_conf

But hey, you can never beat them all. There's always going to be something faster out there.

So, you got pregnant, eh? :icon_surp

Welcome to the site! Nice cars, by the way.... I too hate SRT-4's, lol. Luckily nobody in Colorado Springs who has one knows how to drive, so I've actually beaten a couple. :)

Yea! Sometimes, apparently on rare occasions, Supra owners get pregnant :naughty: And then they can't drive their Supras because they can't fit behind the wheel and reach the pedals

Oh, I'm happy to hear that someone is dealing with the Dodge Neons! Perhaps that driver will be in for a rude surprise with the next MK3 he meets. My ex-BF has a '06 Dodge Charger RT w/5.7l Hemi that put my '91 to pasture. That car could seriously haul ass. I would be happy if I could mod my '90 to just keep up with the thing. Its good to have goals in life..

Can't keep the '91 - it has more serious issues than the '90. Fixable, but not ones I want to deal with at this time. But I see possibly another Supra in my future, perhaps a 1jz conversion...

Wow, sounds like something you would do to make the alarm shut off on a Supra! :icon_bigg

My 87 had an active factory alarm AND a remote entry. Not a good combination! About once a month I would "hit the jackpot" so to speak, usually in a very public area with lots of people around. My current 90 has the alarm disabled, and I look forward to getting remote entry again. But the power lock button on the DS is broken <sigh>. I have a replacement for it, but its the whole assembly, which is pretty wild looking. Looks like a day-long project.

Pics of the 91 are up in my picGallery, along with a couple that I don't have in the autotrader ad :naughty: Haven't done a gallery for the 90 yet, because the only pic I have for it is the one on my sig. I hope to do some major work on the interior this winter, so I will post some before/after pics.

Welcome to the forum. Im envious as I searched forever for a white package car and ended up with a converted instead. Buts its pretty clean so its all good. I would love to have that 91 but I have 4 right now and thats too many. Let me know if you need help with that door lock switch as its not hard at all. I have replaced a couple and could probably do it in a hour or so.. I do live in Lexington ya know. Not far from Hamburg.
