This damn corSICKa, fucking pos!!!

There wasnt a thermostat so I put one in, then putting the housing back on i heard a pop, the fucking housing cracked!!! Think JB Weld will fix this? Its leaking now. And then the upper rad hose I bought was too long, so I cut it.... TO FUCKING SHORT!!!!

Im so sick of this shit, I dont even care about the supra now, I just want a working car that looks halfway decent, I dont care how old....!!!!!!!!!!

I DO love it, Id LOVE it running right now and not torn to shit in my garage, i fucking loved that car more than any other I have EVER driven. I just want it running, Ill have $1500 for that in the next 4 weeks but I dont know what to do.

I could care less about the hose, I just wish I didnt get another car I had to immediatly get my hands into. Not to mention getting to the thermostat, is the most painful experiece ever, Id rather replace my supras HG

My car has been down for around 2 years due to a bad motor swap and BHG. I took the time to have the motor rebuilt with all new arp studs / bolts, the tranny rebuilt / upgraded, and a ton of performance parts added. I am just waiting on the mechanics to finish putting it together....

The best advice is to just rip it apart and rebuild it to make a good car. It is not the cars fault that the previous owner prolly fubared it to hell.

Nah, not 2/2, corsica is fine, just need to relax tonight and finish tomorrow, Im just to high strung on the supra I guess. I didnt mess it up either, Im redoing it RIGHT, this corsica is just a beat around for 2 months.

I KNow youre not baggin on me though, I agree a more professional helper/friend would be great right now, just dont know anyone.

Don't get so bent! Just relax and take it slowly, replace whatever needs replacing, do it right and be done with it...it doesn't help to get all pissed off and frustrated, just makes things take EVEN longer, and then you get more pissed off/frustrated...it's a vicious cycle!!...not to mention, it makes you post threads like this on SM....

That weld held the coolant in when I squeezed the hose, tomorrow Ill actually turn things on.

I cant finance a car from ANYONE bc of my credit, its all fucked up, really bad, not to mention a repo in jan. Thats when I got my supie.

I know everything will be ok, sometimes I need to just step back and relax. In good news, my neighbor unloaded a ton of combo wrenches, pliers and other shit he didnt need and a tool box for me, for free, awesome stuff, I really needed some of it too. So that was awesome.

Im sorry for all the emotional driven posts, makes me look so damn immature, Ima try to calm that down and just face that this will take work.

no its not the thermostat housing that makes me wanna do it, its that overall this car was given to me with the words that its reliable and working great, if I already have to fix a whole ton of shit to get it running, im not doin it. I need a working car ASAP.

Like Brn2Drv said, Ill be laughing at all this one day, WHILE Im cruising in my supra. I just get frustrated, ALMOST every car Ive owned has given me tons of shit. oh well, tomorrows another day

I was never considering selling the supra, just pissed off words, I wont sell it, I like that car WAY to much. I got it for about $2500, when I went to get gas the first night I had it, Some guy walked up, handed me a blank check and said name your price for it....

I turned that down immediately. Any other car it woulda been gone.

And hows that weld gonna fail? They have stories of people usin that stuff on engine blocks and shit, and your tellin me its gonna fail on that little T-stat housing?

BTW the reason that housing sucks so bad, Ill get pics, its the WORST thing in the world to ever have to change on this damn car, its near impossible if you dont take off the exhaust manifold
