heat it up with a heat gun and try again.

if that fails, get yourself a 3/4" drive breaker bar set and do the starter method.

Nash, did you soak it with PB Blaster? That might help some.

I had 6' of breaker bar to pop mine loose...

put it in 1st, yank the e-brake as hard as possible, and have someone stand on the brakes...

heat it up with a heat gun and try again.

That's how I got mine off too.... after I had already torqued it down, put the engine in the car, and was trying to start it for the first time.

Damnit!

Got to Home Depot and buy a 4 foot piece of 1 inch steel gas pipe. Makes a nice extension to your breaker bar. That's what it took to loosen mine.

I have a 3foot piece of galvanized plumbing pipe I call "The Equalizer". That and a 1/2" drive breaker bar will get it loose. Of course you are putting stresses on other things in the drive train.

welll i got the bolt off

big pry bar did not help was over powering the brakes

start metod i do nto like to use on really tight bolts stress the starter and ring and gear

so after 4 impack guns of trying it tell the socket was hot to tuch
mine 450 foot pounds buddy number 2 500 foot pounds buddy number 3 wiht china gun worst of all of them

then my buddie mac gun 900 foot pounds took it off in like 4 air tank fills

my dear god that sucker was on really really tight
