Cant remember if our brakes are this way but sometimes one of the pins is part of the bracket and you just remove the lower bolt, swing the caliper and then slide it off

It's 1 and 2 as the top slide is part of the body of the caliper and the pin is on the bracket...

Bracket is attached to the the hub by two bolts. It's a pretty good design since if the one bolt holding the caliper in place falls out you're still fine for a short while (unlike some cars where the caliper will swing out and jam against the wheel). But of course if the slids are screwed it gets to be a pain (bad slides cause issues as well)

i thought there are two bolts to take the caliper itself out with the brake pads, but the caliper support have 2 more bolts ?

there is one bolt holding the caliper to the bracket, it is located on the botom... then you can swing the caliper up and off of the stationary slider... if you buy a brake hardware kit you can replace the stationary slider, there is one bolt holding that on... there is two small bolts holding on the brake hose to the bracket, and then two more bolts holding on the bracket.

hope that can help =)

Haven't had my car apart THAT many times, but as I had to fix the stupid stuck slides on 3 of the calipers whne I bought the car, I remember fighting with the design.

Personally hate sliding calipers, it's a shitty design and when the system wears it can cause issues...

I know that thing just doesnt want to come out. I have a special techique involving some screaming and good vocabulary along with a possible threat to crush the car slowly.

I had to do the passenger side of my car that was originally from pennsylvania. It was on there but good.
