I'm actually in too good of a mood to go off on him.

But I will say this, when you get behind of the wheel of a vehicle impaired, you make a choice, not only for yourself, but for every person you will pass and/or interact with until you (hopefully) reach your destination.

You guys know how much liberty and freedom mean to me. I think you should be able do to what you want, when you want, provided you don't risk another's life, liberty or property without their permission. When you drive drunk, you threaten my life, my liberty and my property without my permission. That makes you the epitome of everything I despise.

I could go off on a rant and call our idiotic friend a couple of dozen names.

But I'm not going to bother other than to say that drunk drivers are so far down on my list of subhuman shit that I wouldn't piss on one to put it out of it were on fire.

I fail to see the humor. Personally I'd prefer it if our jury system worked well enough that one of us could pull you out of the car and put a bullet in your head without fear of reprisal. agreed.... whether or not you've passed the field sobriety test, you're still a fucking moron.. 2 of my friends were killed by a drunk driver at 14 years old..That man passed the field sobriety test, but was way over the legal limit to drive.. Just because you can walk a straight line drunk, doesnt mean you can drive....You should count your blessing, but from your displays in this thread, I am safe to assume that in your ignorant bliss, you'll be a repeat offender.. you seem to look past the fact that i passed the field sobriety test....and that like 3 hours later i was back in the police station gettin the keys to my supra....i was far..far far far far from drunk..i felt just fine..

Funny, the guy that KILLED my grandfather said the same thing, and was just barely over the limit as well. How you felt after the drinks means jack, your under the influence, keep your ass out the damned car. Your lucky he didn't lock you up and take your car.

I don't see anything wrong with risking your own life or health, but risking someone else's life, health, and hard-earned property is stupid and irresponsible. I can't stand people who drink and drive. Nor people who drift on public roads. I can understand having a drink (singular) at a bbq or something, then later having to drive home, but going to the bar with the intention of driving back after some drinking is plain stupidity. I don't hate the person, but I hate their actions.

Passing the field sobriety test doesn't mean shit,you can pass one at twice the legal limit quite easily if you have any sort of tolerance.
You're lucky they let you go,Indiana damn sure wouldn't have.You'd think that would be a wake up call not to do stupid shit like that again,instead of thinking of an alternate route for next time.
Whether it be drinking,pot,or pills,it's fuckin' stupid(I've gotten an impaired driving charge for driving while I was tired and drifting onto the shoulder,which was fucking stupid on my behalf)
