I did something stupid. Bought a new truck

Well I was looking for a small midsize truck say like a 4x4 tacoma. Well down here they retain their value really well. So the cheapest I found was an 99 for 18495.00. Well I got to looking at our toyota dealer and say a nice 2003 TRD edition Tundra. Was thinking to myself now it would be nice if I could buy that but there is no way it would be under 20k...
Well they were asking 19 for it .. I managed to get it for 18k.. Gosh I still cant believe i did this...

Its still at the dealer but i get it tomorrow after washing. And to see if they can get my interest rate lower.

My cousin has always been into trucks and 4x4s and stuff. I never understood until he threw me in the back and drove hella fast through mud. I get it now. Trucks are cool! At one point we where driving sideways over a steep embankment, what felt like 45 degrees from the way gravity pulls! That was fun.

well I got a good job at toyota but the thing is I wanted to wait till I finished the supra before I bought a truck.... right now the payments will be steep until I refianance it

i really got it for my son.. Dunno if any of yall remember my post where Jamie got into a serious wreck where the engine was pushed thru the fire wall and the engine burnt her cousins foot and broke her cousins ankle along with breaking her ankle, knee, and fractured some ribs. I wanted something that Jamie and our son could be safe in.
Btw its still under warranty too.

yes i think I did. It was smart but it was also to soon imo. I wanted to get the supra done first but Jamie doesnt have transportation to get a new job. She wants to help pay half so that will help.
hopefully my interest rates will go down and I can have cheaper payments.
I was looking at tacoma's first but a brand new basic tacoma was like 16k.. Figured 18k for a Tundra 4 door wasnt bad.

yea so far payments are 380 monthly. EH!! but I'll refinance in a few months and try to get it down to 300 I dont see why I cant get it any lower my credit score is a 704 agian I will haggle with the salesman tomorrow.

They are real nice riding truck. When at Toyota I put a blower on a customer's car. He financed a new truck, and put the blower on the finance charge. The kit is kind of pricey though. Have fun.

Want some justification? A newer Corolla would have cost the same.
