I'm not sure about you guys but I sware at times I thought I had thorns in my elbows digging holes in my arm rests. Well the Supra and Cressida both are tore. So I had a local fabric shop refinish them for me. He took the old one off, copied it and then put the new one on the lid. $38 each. I did this mainly b/c of the cressida b/c Toyota doesnot make blue ones anymore.

Anyone up for Floor mats. Stock Toyoa like floor mats for about $70 for front 2. Good material.

The shade on the cressida looks a little off in the pic but its not that bad.

Just digging up this thread to ask if anyone has ever rewrapped their arm rest themselves? I'm looking at it and it doesn't look too hard. I can sow buttons back onto a shirt. It shouldn't be any harder than that after the trimming and tucking of the leather.

I just put duct tape over mine when I got the car, and it holds up. but I'm thinking about pleading with my mom to redo it.

:3d_frown:
i never wonder why we get a bad reputation for being cheap sometimes...

i'd rather leave a hole in it like mine than have a piece of duct tape covering it...

it wasnt the normal duckt tape, it was the dull grey kind that matchet the grey interior almost perfectly and I did because A:the place where it was torn was right under my elbow and it bugged the hell out of me B:it wasnt the black stuff that was showing, it was this sort of orangeish-yellow padding. andC: I was an utterly broke 15y.o. who hadent yet found the respect for my supra.

EDIT:I know this was a some what childish statement, because saying it made me want th put a "SO THERE!!" at the end, sorry.

i just got a leather replacement for mine from www.aapmotorsports.com
they only have black and dark grey though. even though i have a grey interior, i dedcided on black. i figure it will look good with the black shifter boot, black e-brake boot, and black seats.

Ok, I just did mine with brown vinyl from the fabric store that looks close enough to burgundy. It's not pretty, well, that's about it, it's not pretty and and I don't have a hole in there anymore.

Finally photographed it. It was $2 for two pieces, one piece had autumn leaves which is now the armrest, the other piece was regular vinyl which went for the ebrake.
