Machine cut valves may take a few 1000 revs to fully seat hand lapped have 100% seal right off.... guess it's an old school thing

Looks pretty stock to me, I have a 90 looks similar except steering wheel and I have blue leather not burgundy, I just wouldnt' want a 89 I like even years, LOL.

The finishing touch to a valve job. I don't know if it's still done. Old school for sure. I just got done doing it on my spare head.
