There are differences and it does matter putting in the 2J map with out anything else will cut back on some of your fuel, since it is then giving your ECU false info.
And in answer i am hitting boost cut at 1bar
1J mapsensor = 2.1bar
2J mapsensor = 2.3bar
both in absolute pressure of coarse
Putting a 2J sensor on a 1jz without fuel adjustment will indeed lean out the A/F's.
2J mapsensor in combination with 550's are a nice balance, like the lexus afm and 550's mod on a 7m.
