I'm looking at getting my twins upgraded, has anyone had it done?

Or I was looking at the driftmotion ct26 kit and using a hybrid

I am only looking for 400hp tops, any feedback appreciated

Stock or hybrid twins are no good then, I'm thinking about using them til they go pop then change them.

what sort of horsepower can the ct26 provide is it a good kit

Depending on your Budget you have a few options.
The ct26 route is an affordable way to get single , but your going to have to source a decent Turbo say a 57trim, forget about getting one in the UK :3d_frown: - youre going to have to source one over here.

Small single such as gt30 or gt35r, then you have the single intallation hardware expense,Its worth it in the long run, go with Walbro pump, jspec 440cc jectors and Map sensor + some sort fuel control like the safc to complete things. Will net you 400+ps your limiting factors are the fueling basically.
Hynrids - you gonna need the fueling (as above sorted) to support them, and TBH i dont trust any Hybriders in the UK only Envy but they only supply the ct12's.
Expensive Route would be the Blitz KKK kits if you can find them.

Why are hybrid twins always being knocked? Who has dyno sheets to prove that they arent that good? The price may be high, but it's a bolt on affair. That may be worth it to someone. Lets see some dyno sheets and hear from someone has them! I will trust their opinion over someone thinks/heard that they suck.

No one said they "aren't that good."

Stock twins are a serious pain in the ass to deal with and those hybrid twins are very expensive. I don't recall anyone in this thread saying they suck.

the DM CT kit is good, but then again i dont trust an upgraded CT26. and for 1500 bucks you can easily get a single kit together and just buy fuel and supporting mods once you get the money.

i got a T4 60-1, t'netics racegate, manifold, oil lines and fittings, and bov for under 1300 total. still need IC, injectors, fuel pump, and fuel controller later, but im doing it in steps. all that and its not a CT26 which im cool with :)

thats my opinion, take it or leave it ;)

Manifold 350
DP 150
Tial 38mm WG 200
Master Power 62-1 580
fittings, Oil Lines turbo Vband Clamp ~ $100

Providing you have 1jzgte this kit will need minor fabrication to connect your exhaust to the Dp and IC piping to the turbo. Also providing you have a BOV.

so for around $1500 you can get this system installed complete with everything but the tuning cost. Do you sell all these?

no he doesn't but all of those prices are internet prices. just search

DP can be cheaper. i got an N1 style muffler on ebay for 50 bucks shipped and full 3 inch piping from my Y-pipe back for 100 bucks

my buddy and i did the cutting and welding but a muffler shop wont charge that much. so 300 TOPS for a full 3 inch. instead of 650+ for just a gay catback

yeah hybrid twins are pretty expensive and like Joe said also the twin turbos are pita to maintain. Even the upgraded ct12a with steel wheels from AUS are damn expensive. I'm starting to piece a single turbo myself and everywhere you go you will end up spending around 1200-2k for a good single turbo setup unless you choose to go with DM ct26 replacement.

I only sell the mani and DP.
But to put this kit together would be fairly easy for anyone that is interested.
Heck, I'll even ship it for that price....LOL

Casue there are better options out there. In the end the CT12s have small shafts and will wear out quicker then a proper turbo.

I really think the HKS kit is the best. Looks stock, but has twin T2 manifolds (i'm sure better flowing then stock) and gt28 turbos.. They're fairly hard to find, but usually ~ 1000-1500 i've seen. Easily 400 whp setup but looks bone stock.. plus you can brag you got hks yo!

if you can this get kit will you need to upgrade your fuel system or the stock can handle 400 whp.

that hks twins looks nice. already have walbro 255 pump installed and i picked up a JDM 440cc injectors 6 months ago that I sent to rc for cleaning and flow tested so I should be able to hit 400whp maybe 430hp. I like the twins setup, it's kind of unique, but with the price to upgrade them might as well go single turbo imo.
