Pouring alcohol on it sounds like torture to me. Should have just killed it.

Get a clear plastic container and wax the insides.
Put the bug in it and pour clear resin into the container.

Once it hardens, pop the block of resin and you should have a bug souveniur.
You could sell it to some science freak and make some money...

Hey, none of that PETA propaganda here. Bee's don't have mucous membranes for the alcohol to burn or dry out, so they drink it and get drunk. I think it would rather be drunk than be dead.
