Thanks man I really appreciate the offer. I JUST moved to Palouse with a buddy of mine. He works on "rat rods" so he's got a ton of stuff that needs cleaned up. Here's where I'm at right now:

Step 1: Clean out garage bay for the Supra.
Step 2: Figure out what I need to spend my $ on (body, interior, engine, handling).
Step 3: See who would be willing to help with whatever I spend $ on.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit

So yeah if you've got any ideas on where I should go next please let me know. I'm planning on spending about $500/month on the Supra to get it ready for the summer and SILV. I'll get your number as soon as I get it in the garage out there so you can help me brainstorm!

This is kind of a "meh" post but I'm excited to get these things on. It's going to require some pulling of the fenders, creation of adjustable control arms/A-arms, and re-drilling the hubs for the different bolt pattern. I should have mock up pics in the next week or so but I won't have tires for a month probably :cry:

I can't wait to see how it looks once it's done. You melded the little panel in front of the rear wheel, unlike Ham. I'm curious how much that changes the look.

Also: That's a lot of effort for a set of wheels. Sheesh.

I got them on after modifying the hubs and rotors. Still have to roll/pull the fenders and work on the adjustable control arms before I can lower it to where I want it to be.

Luis -- As soon as you drive out to see it :sarcasm: I'm actually praying that I will have it running tomorrow morning but we'll see how that goes... Once it is running again I can meet up whenever. We just have to figure out when and where.

Yup! I posted in the Centralia thread. Luis and Ryan came by and helped me diagnose what was going on. I showed them how loud my fuel pump was then we compared it to Luis' car. Mine was RIDICULOUSLY loud and you couldn't hear the fuel returning by the FPR. Luis' car you could barely hear the pump but the return was very audible.

I had an extra Walbro fuel pump laying around so I popped that in today. Rolled my rear fenders too so that I could lower a bit more in the rear (had a raked look going on, I'm not much of a fan of that on Supras). Also took care of a rattle that my exhaust was making.

It's running a bit rich right now but I'm happy because it's running strong. Rather run rich than lean without any way to tune it.

Thanks again for the MAF sensor. If I hadn't gotten that from you I'd still be chasing a problem even after swapping pumps!

Glad we could be of some help even though we really didnt do shit. If you need help with anything else let us know so we can try to get it covered sooner than later. Does it still miss at idle, or hesitate?

Sure seems like it but I've only got maybe 60 miles on it yet.

No hesitation at all anymore. It does still miss some at idle, but it's a different miss than before. I'm going to do adjustments to the timing and throttle linkage and see where that gets me.

And "lol" at comparing my car to yours, it's not even close :nono: ....yet

So that makes at least 2 of us! We'll see where I decide to go with the project first. I like paint, but I have a girlfriend, so it's not like I NEED it to look good :biglaugh:

Well I might be able to stop by and help you with the trunk popper (if you even need it) but this is going to be the one weekend I'm not staying in Spokane. I do have to go up there Saturday to pick up the g/f so if you're available before like 3pm we can get together and discuss the plan.

I will get together some stuff, maybe do some sketches and bring up some of my electronics stuff. I don't suppose you have an extra set up 89+ tail lights (just the part where the bulbs are)? It would be nice to have a set that I could actually cut up to fit the PCB board in there.
