hp gains question...

any body know if the lipp elbow fits the stock precat???
i was thinking it might be a good buy come smog season since it looks stock

Until you get at least a dp (bonus points for an elbow or intergrated elbow/dp) you're probably sittin' around 210-220rwhp. When I had 3" turbo-back exhaust (stock cat, however), shimmed wastegate at 8-9ish PSI, and custom k&n intake I made 235whp/276tq... that should give you a rough idea. Your result, however, may vary.

yes, results might vary however depending on where youre at and overall car condition,it shouldnt be that much of a difference though.

I had the same mods you do about a year ago. The next thing I did was bic ddp, Maybe the cat was clogged but Holy crap. BIG difference. I love the sound, gets rid of RICE with a simple downshift!

so im seeing people saying that they had like 210 rwhp... but isnt the MKIII turbo stock at around 233 hp... i understand that there is a loss of hp because of condition and what not but i wouldnt expect it to be 20 hp...

rwhp is different than hp...

factory numbers are at the crank.
rw = at the rear wheels.

ok... i figured that 232 meant rwhp... i didnt realize that that was the crank measurment... thanks
