So far I have spent over 20 hours configuring this setup. I want to make sure I am finding out what every wire is. There are a ton of wires that will never be used in this setup. The JZA70 has a lot more things that work. An example is the exhaust temp warning light.

Please note that you can't just extend the wires on the JZA70 hanress and it will fit your car. Wires from different plugs are on the wrong plugs and will not work on our cars. This is the reason for this configuring.

Please remember that the JDM Supra's do not have a neutral start switch. So that is one thing that will not be on the B1 Plug at all. There is a Neutral start wire but it goes to the starter of course because it’s not on the clutch pedal. If you splice in a switch for the starter solenoid wires you can create the clutch switch circuit.

Okay Plugs and names of units.

B1 Plug is the square Plug
M1 is the Dark Gray plug
B2 is the White Plug that looks like the M1
B3 light gray
B4 is dark gray with two wires
The Fuse box Plug is a huge 12 pin square plug near the igniter
Resistor is the small resistor in the engine bay that is bolted to the wheel well on our cars

So far I have got what all the plugs run to. From here you should be able to match up the wires from your car. I will be adding to this. So far I have just been able to get what every wire color is and let you know what is does.

There is more to that then what meets the untrained eye.

You have to remember if your doing this swap conversion on an auto car you have to merge the circuit that the automatic selector switch joins since there is no selector switch in the 1JZ because they are 99% manuel for the supra you have to splice them together on the body side of the body connectors.

Oh I am not finished yet. I just got what every wire runs too. I still have to find out what that pigtail on the jza70 ecu is for and how many wires and what colors.

I would also love to see this guide even if it's not for a soarer harness AND if it's for a soarer as well.

You said there is a thing already for the jza70 send me the link so I don't have to keep doing ti myself :)

The soarer harness has a configuration, but does not have tems or ABS included in it.

Those were the ones I was using, that's one of the ones I uploaded in the first post. That's why when I was referring to pin #14 on IH1 I thought you knew what I was talking about.

i just used those pdfs to wire my car but be careful if you have an automatic 1jz engine. One of the plugs has differnt color wires but if you search it here on the forum someone breaks down the automatic plugs. My car is up and running but my tach and temp gauge isent working or dash lights.

Quick question, does anyone know which set of the PDF's would apply to a late '89T MT? One set is explicitiy defined as being for 1987-Early 89, and the other for 90+.

The wiring on 89's is usually slightly different than all other years. Check the plugs in the glovebox area of your car and match them up to the pictures on the pdf's. The B1 connector is a big clue, the 88 style one has an additional row on the bottom of 3 pins.
