because a softer spring will be able to release your turbo back pressure easier. when the butterfly valve shuts there will be backpressure from the turbo and that needs to be released, a stronger spring rate will need more pressure to be able to release pressure since these cars usually dont have much going into them you need a soft spring on the BOV in order to get the pressure released properly..

So why make them with stiffer springs? that's the part that confuses me lol. I will be running a 60-1 CT witch i heard gets a little surge because of the housing so i want to try and eliminate as much as possible and probably be running 2 BOV

2 bov on a ct is over kill.

Stiffer springs for higher boost.

My greddy is on the softest setting and never opens prematurely.

Are we talking wastegates or BOV's here? Either way, not really an item to cheap out on, either one could kill your turbo, and a wastegate failure can cause all SORTS of headaches. Therefore, I'd buy a reputable part from a reputable dealer.

That said, it's up to you and your car. You're the one that has to live with it, so if saving a few bucks now is worth the risk of spending a LOT more later...

I wasn't trying to find a cheap one just a real one if someone can point me to a real one that would be nice. I saw some on driftmotion but i didn't know if they were real?

I currently running a Real HKS Ssqv3 and don't like it very much.

what VAc did you pull at idle? that will tell you what spring to get

I'm running only 14vac at idle and 20-22vac driving last time my car ran.
I know that it is suppose to run 20vac at idle and 26-28 driving but i couldn't find leaks anywhere
