I'm wanting to chrome out a few parts on my supra like the intake for example and I'm just curious of whats needed to do so. I have a power drill and a dremel but not sure of what type of polish I need and what steps need to be taken to prepare the metal to be chromed so if anyone could help I would appreciate it.

thanks
Michael

I would like to know the same i plan on going 57 or 60 trim and would like to know any modifications to the stock exhaust manifold

Yeah I would thiink it would be much cheaper to do it yourself then to let someone else do it. Now all we need is for someone to chime in.

You can't chrome stuff on your own. Well... unless you happen to work/own a chrome shop, but you're not gonna go out and buy tanks and chemicals to do 1 engine bay! Polishing you can do but its going to take several parts to get good at it, so you might as well send it off to get chromed or have it professionally polished. Its worth saving your time and you end up with a much better looking product in the end.
