Id do the test IJ suggested anyways just in case. But from what youre telling me, it sounds like incorrect valve clearances. You can check them following the TSRM, and reshim as needed, then it should quiet it down quite a bit.

You would likely get better audio quality if you took the car out of the garage. +2 for doing Ian's test, its a good idea to rule out the rod knock first, as thats the one that could destroy the engine fast.
Also theres like 1.2 million youtube vids of rod knock including many supras. Most will sound more severe, but it will give you a better idea what to listen for.

Has your idle oil pressure decreased?

Try pulling an injector clip at a time with it idling and see if the tap changes, replace clip and repeat down the engine.

Im ashamed to say i wouldnt even know how to go about this.... :(

So will it run really rough and will you feel lack of power pretty noticeably

No, I said it will sound like one. From your video it sounds like noise from the valvetrain. Rod knock is pretty distinguishable as it litterally goes "KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK"

It will make that sound faster when you rev it up, and slower at idle. The knock will get louder too when your revving it.

ok. The car is not in a garage covered car port but the fan is really loud on it.

Your fuel injectors (between the cyl head and fuel rail) Have clips (electrical plugs) removing one will sever the signal that tells that injector to fire (inject fuel) Doing this will stop combustion in that cylinder, and if the noise is a rod knock coming from that cylinder, the noise will stop or change. do this one cylinder at a time, and if the noise changes or stops that cylinder has a rod knock.

If its not noticable when running then when is it noticable?

Ok, then its audible at idle, but not under load. Likely valvetrain noise, check your valve clearance first, you dont have to run the engine to do that.

HOW? Its in the TSRM.

ok i just did Ian's test and the noise never changed from the tap tap tap.

i do not have the TSRM but i i think i have seen people post links to it around so i will find it.
