i can see better throttle response because of less piping, but thats it. i dont believe it can evenly distribute air acroos all 6. no way it can. toyota (just as any manufacture would) put r & d into the 7m (or 2jz, or any other) manifold design to make sure they would flow evenly. u take that design and alter it, especially a dramatic change like converting it to a front facing, u alter the flow characteristics in a negative way. the 7m intake was not meant (designed) to work that way. thats why carlosptr210 says he feels a difference (throttle response because of shorter piping) but he says its not as good as ron r (because ron designed the intake to take on air and distribute it from the front, unlike a hacked stocker). i will never believe these are efficient. ill just save for a used ron r or wait till i fit my 2jz intake on.
