I'm wondering if there's a measurement that T3 flanges are and same with a T4. What I mean is a T3 or T4 flange should measure xxx inches from point A to point B. There's a turbo at a shop I'm interested in but no one there knows anything about it other then they "think" its off a diesel of some kind. I'm going to take a look at it in the next couple days and other then looking at the markings for whether its a Holset or not I'd like to see if its a T3 flange or something else based on measuring the hotsides inlet flange if it's possible. Thanks alot for any help as I couldn't find anything after searching google and here on the forum.

Thanks for the visual! So a T3 is more rectangular while the T4 is alot closer to a square.

Hopefully some one will also be able to chime in with distance measurements as well.

Thanks alot, thats exactly what I was looking for!

I stoped by and looked at the turbo's today and it turns out that they're some Garrett turbo. 1.15A/R on the hot side and something like a .60 A/R compressor side. Basically I'm not going to bother with them as I wouldn't spool something that big till 6-7000rpms and not gain much power when they do hit.

I'll be keeping my eyes open locally for either an HX35 or an HY35W.
