My e-brake sucks, How do you adjust it? I tried to search but couldn't find
anything. I can pull it all the way up and all it does is make a faint grinding
sound.

I come from a land down under
Can be adjusted at the Shoes and at the handle

Better to do the shoes first then the handle so you get 5 clicks to full on.

It's covered in the TRSM.

Don't freak if you pull the rear discs and see how thin the shoes are they're only 2mm new.

I remember people flipping out when they pulled the discs off to check figuring it would look like a normal brake pad and totally forget its a PARK brake.

Also dont freak when you go to the dealership to buy new shoes. I just bought a full set for my car. I wasnt really expecting $90 for a set of shoes.

If your parking brake used to work but doesn't now, you should pull off the rotor/drum and take a look. Mine did that and the problem was one of the shoes lost its lining. The lining was thick enough, but it doesn't really do any good if it's not attached to the shoe.

If the shoes are still good, follow IJ's advice.

They never wear out under normal use, but they do break.
