The turbo looks fine, and has no shaft play. Plus, it's pretty heavy duty.

looks more like abrasion than melting...

got any pics of that radiator hose you speak of? I'm a black coupler kinda person (black samco hoses and all)

HOW THE HELL DOES THAT HAPPEN? The hole was on the underside, near the exhaust manifold. I could not see it at all. Maybe there was a small tear that worked its way apart after so much boost, or maybe a squirrel got hungry or something.

Sheesh. At least now I know why my car's been so laggy. Funny thing was the turbo still happily put out 18psi :)
