How rare is the tt R?

How rare are the twin turbo R models? Also, do they differ in any ways other than: torsen diff, thicker sway bars, upgraded springs and shocks, recaro interior, momo wheel and knob, and no ABS? How much do they weigh if anyone knows? Is it just the ABS delete and sport seats causing it to be the lightest stock mkiii?

What's an acceptable asking price for a good condition, no rust, 120k km (74k miles) 91 twin turbo R?

My Supra is a JDM RHD 2.5L TT with all the options as the R except the recaro seats and momo wheel. The only reason they are the lightest is because of what you mentioned. The seats have some weight to them because of all the electronic stuff in them (well, at least the drivers) and the ABS does add some weight. I paid $7300 for my Supra, BUT that was for the price of the car, imported from Japan, to my front door in Toronto, all taxes in. You can pick them up in Japan in decent shape for around $4000 - $5000 CAD. If you're interested, I import cars as a side business. PM me if you want more details.

Rare? Hell no! I see them all the time here, but, we are legally allowed to have RHD cars here, I owned one a few years ago.

Decent shape? 4500 is cheap. A mint condition one would go for more. I know someone on here that has a VERY nice shape TT R but he has to post it up. You know who you are!

not even remotely rare, I think I've seen more JZA70 TT-R's than I've seen JZA70 Limiteds or "standards"

also as stated previously, ABS was an option on them, but I have only personally seen one that actually had it optioned in.
